Important Relationship

During my college days my teacher assigned our group to write an essay on important relationship.Next day, one by one on she randomly called few students and asked them to read their essay. Few of my mates told “Relationship with Parents” is important, some of them told  “Relation with God” and few smartass told “Relation with teachers”. My best friend told “Relation with oneself” is important, that time I did not contemplate with his thinking and thought he is been over smart to get few extra marks.
Today I realised it to some extent it is true. We give importance to every relationship except for ourselves. We care so much about others we forget to care of ourselves. We spend time to look good but we forget cleanse our souls. We need to take time to introspect our life instead of concentrating on others. We need to take off for a day for ourselves. Everyday we must take time to introspect and retrospect so that we can connect dots from past and improve our present. What is use of living life without introspecting even non intelligent animals live their lives. We must give time for soul searching and thrive to become better person from yesterday. On paper its look easy to spend time everyday for ourselves but honestly how many of us do that?. I’m not saying other relations are not important but no relation will remain intact. Parents will leave us one day, Wife can breakup if relation is not working but when our soul leaves us it means that we are in realm dead world. Our soul is our partner from first day of our life to end of our timeline. Let us give time to satisfy our soul and cleanse it so that when it is time for us to leave this world we are content with ourselves and are ready to bid adieu. If life is not going certain expected way we take tension and harm our soul. We question why me, when something terrible happens. We should be great-full that life has chosen us to see its beauty. We still don’t know our purpose of existence but we do know our aim and should follow it with full heart and soul. lets take care of our soul as we do same with our body.

Please do share your thoughts in comment section below and tell us how what did you introspect and learn from past ?
Thank you.

  1. An interesting post. It is so strange how we view and treat ourselves. After all, we are with ourselves 24/7 for all our lives and yet it’s one relationship we barely give any attention to.

And sadly, when we do, it is usually negative attention. Constantly focusing on our short-comings, weaknesses, failures. To carry around such a burden of thought is surely damaging.

  2. I agree completely. Most of us never stop to think about how we treat ourselves, but every day we will stop to consider things like how we dress down to if our socks match. Very well written.

  3. So as human we have to obey Allah’s rules because as we know that we live in this world as a servant or abdillah. We have Al Quran and hadits which is guided us, what to do and don’t. And other side, we have relationships with others human, animals which is God created them, All people are important, include our parents, wife, husband and and our grand ma
